Carter Newsome Car Accident – Carter Newsome, a seventh-grader, and her mother Shasta Newsome killed in a car accident that occurred early on Saturday, February 11. Carter’s sister Shaniya Newsome, a junior at El Campo High School, was hurt in the collision and sent to the hospital. Carter Newsome and her mother succumbed to the impact of the collision.
The Funeral plans for Carter Newsome, and her mother Shasta Newsome will be officially released by their family.

On the Katy Freeway, two persons perished in a fatal collision that occurred close to Brookshire. At around 7:50 a.m., according to Houston TranStar, a three-vehicle collision occurred on I-10 at FM-359. After being closed for hours while workers tried to clear the major accident, the eastbound lanes are now open.
It is unknown what caused the collision, but according to TxDOT officials, two persons died as a result of their injuries. According to Brookshire police, one of the victims was transported by helicopter to the hospital before passing away. Despite the paucity of information, Houston TranStar officials indicated that a big truck was involved in the three-vehicle collision.
