AMHERST, N.Y. – The Millersport Highway crash was recorded on film last Monday night, and Amherst Police are asking for any witnesses to the incident. Just before 11:30 p.m., an accident occurred on Millersport Highway close to John James Audubon Parkway. According to the police, an 18-year-old female was driving a 2018 Dodge car when it left the road and turned over.
Twin City EMS transported the injured driver and a male passenger, age 17, to the ECMC. An 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old girl, and a 20-year-old guy were the other three passengers in the car. In the accident, all three were lost. In order to give the victims’ families time to respond, police are withholding the names of the victims at this time.

According to the Amherst Fire Department, a driver was sent to the hospital after a tractor-trailer collision on Route 29 in Amherst County approximately north of the Ambriar exit. Around 3:30 on Friday am, a number of organizations were summoned to the scene, including the Virginia State Police, Amherst County Public Safety, the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office, and others.
When they got there, they discovered a driver who had become locked inside their car. The driver was taken to a hospital after officials were able to remove the patient from the car. According to VDOT, the site has been cleaned as of 10:15 a.m. on Friday morning after the collision that shut down all north lanes.
