New York, NY – A longtime Physique 57 Trainer from 2009 to 2018, Emily Zuzelski sadly passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, as announced on Physique 57 official Facebook page. The circumstance behind Emily’s death is currently unknown. It was said that Emily’s brilliant smile, contagious energy, and genuine concern for her teammates and the community made her genuinely unique.

When she performed as a dancer, singer, and actor, Emily had the most beautiful zest. She had a great sense of humor and her theatrical flare lighted up the room. She would gaze deeply into you with her large, lovely eyes and had the perfect sly remark to get you to grin even during the most difficult glute sets.

Emily was a master at building and nurturing relationships. She turned you into the spotlight when she shone her light on you. And even if you only ever met Emily once, she would always remember your name (as well as the name of your dog). The kindness and dedication Emily exhibited in all she did shine through. Emily was a star at hip-hop dancing, but her strength as a friend was even more apparent. She showed kindness and thoughtfulness while also sharing her feelings.

Physique 57 released the following statement on Monday;

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Emily Zuzelski, Physique 57 Trainer from 2009 to 2018.
Emily’s radiant smile, infectious energy, and deep level of care for her teammates and community were truly one-of-a-kind.
Emily embodied the most wonderful zest as an actor, singer, and dancer. Her theatrical flair lit up the room, and she had a brilliant sense of humor. She would look deep into you with her big, beautiful eyes, and know just the right cheeky line to make you crack a smile during the most challenging glute sets.
Emily was incredibly skilled at creating and fostering connection. When she shined her light on you, she made you the star. And even if you met Emily just once, she would remember your name (and your dog’s name) forever.
Emily’s generosity and commitment to doing everything full out illuminated everything she touched. Yes, Emily thigh danced like a star, but even more importantly, Emily was a fierce friend. She shared her heart with the kindest, most thoughtful gestures.
We will remain forever grateful for our time with Emily, and today want to honor a dear team member, teacher, and friend. Emily’s light will continue to shine strong in our memories and her impact will forever remain in our hearts. We send our love and thoughts to her family and all those dear to her. May she rest in power and in peace.
