John Viera, the beloved son of Desiree (Dumais) Viera, a former Karla Pattavina’s Dance Academy (KPDA dancer, passed away tragically on February 5, 2023. He was a wonderful brother to his sisters Lexi and Mia as well as a devoted son to his parents, Desiree and Roger. He was the friendliest child one could ever meet and was also gentler than most. The circumstances behind his death have not been released to the general public. A Gofundme campaign was created on Tuesday for the family of John Vieira.

Many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents, who also cherished John, are left behind and will now have to cope with life without him. John touched the heart of everyone he met, starting with his big smile. Oh, that smile and those baby blues could win you over with just one look.
Casey Berube and Erin O’Brien who organized the fundraiser wrote, “To lose a child is every parent’s nightmare. When it is unexpected and tragic-it’s all the worse. On February 5, 2023, John Viera left this world much too soon. He was a loving son to his parents, Desiree and Roger, and an incredible brother to his sisters, Lexi and Mia. He leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents who also loved John deeply and will now be forced to navigate life without him…“
