Jackson Bebiak, A member of Valdosta State University identified as person killed in Georgia accident

Valdosta, GA – Authorities have identified the person who died in a fatal Georgia car accident as Jackson Bebiak. The tragic traffic collision happened on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Bebiak a member of Valdosta State University succumbed to the injuries sustained from the accident. Currently, there is no report of what caused or how this accident happened.

RELATED INCIDENT: Homicide investigation underway after teen dies in Valdosta crash

The Valdosta Police Department reports that a 19-year-old male was found dead behind the wheel of his car after it struck a tree on Sunday night. Around 8:14 p.m., officers told WCTV that it occurred near the 2000 block of Fawnridge Road. On Sunday, a homeowner found their car in their front yard, smashed into a tree.

When they checked on the teen, the homeowner reported to emergency dispatchers that he was unresponsive. Officers arrived and pronounced the individual deceased. Officers and detectives tell WCTV that they are classifying their investigation as a homicide based on the evidence that was gathered at the scene.
