Harrisburg, PA – Jeffrey Suter, a senior class student of Bishop McDevitt High School sadly passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Jeff was a member of the school boys’ soccer team and was committed to playing at Drew University in the fall. He lit up our classrooms, hallways, and soccer field. He died at the age of 18. Jeffrey L. Suter, born in Harrisburg, PA on August 30, 2004, was a beloved son, brother, grandson, teammate, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Linda Suter, his sisters, Gina Gabel and Emma Suter, his grandparents, Richard and Juanita Raudabaugh and Bruce Berry Sr., as well as many more family members and friends.
Jeffrey, a senior at Bishop McDevitt High School, was kind-hearted, intelligent, and well-traveled and he loved adventure. A proud brother to both his sisters, Jeffrey was a self-proclaimed Mommy’s boy. Jeffrey was well-known throughout his community as a talented soccer player. During his high school career, he dedicated himself to becoming the best player he could possibly be and was determined to turn his dreams of playing college soccer, while studying business, into reality. Jeffrey was an early commit and signed to play with the Drew University Rangers. When he wasn’t playing soccer, he was volunteering his time with St. Francis Assisi Soup Kitchen. He had a smile that would light up a room, loved playing pranks and telling jokes, and loved spending time with his friends.
