it’s with a heavy heart that i bid my friend lance ross, owner of the freight station in johnstown a sad goodbye. what started out as a musician to owner relationship, over the years turned into a friendship that was proud to say we had. thank you lance for believing in me from day 1. through all the conversations we had to “keep swinging”, to barely keeping the doors open to finaly get capasity crowds as of late. it was finally coming around ! and to know lance, was to know how unselfish of a person he was. taking care of his wife all those years that she was sick. he would carry her down all those steps, put her in the wheelchair & take her to the back of the room just so she could listen to the music. and then carry her back up all those stairs! lance, you will be missed more than you know by so many of us. now you can be with your wife again. you were loved my friend !

Michele Renee who lives in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania wrote; “I’m devastated to learn of the passing of one of my most wonderful lifelong best friends Lance. I have no words. Rest easy dear one. Our memories keep flooding my brain. Such a beautiful giving soul.”

Funeral arrangements will be officially released by the family.
