Madison, WI – Sara Jurgella founder of Be Well Chiropractic and Wellness unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. She sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer. Karla Nicole of Moorhead, Minnesota announced Sara’s passing on Saturday stating that she always admired Sara’s authenticity and genuine spirit through all that they have done together. Karla wrote, “Sara Jurgella, as I sit here and type this, tears rolling down my face, I still can’t believe your kind heart is gone from this earth. I looked up to you throughout grad school.” She added “I always admired your authenticity and genuine spirit through all that we did I. Student government and sports council events will always be cherished in my memory. I am grateful for your friendship.
Karla further said, “You instilled a love for cycling in my soul and I still have the bike you sold me back in grad school. A specialized tarmac with Neil’s upgrades. I have passed that love for bikes onto my son and it is one of his favorite things to do. May your spirit live on in your kids and may they know the amazing woman you are.”
Who was Sara Jurgella?
Sara Jurgella was a longtime resident of Madison, Wisconsin, and the founder of Be Well Chiropractic and Wellness. She went to Dodgeville High, and also studied Environmental and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. She then furthered her education by studying Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. Jurgella was a former Chiropractor at LSM Chiropractic before establishing hers.
Jenna Schneider a Facebook user wrote on expressing her sadness following the passing of her friend, She wrote, “My heart is so heavy this morning with the passing of my friend Sara Jurgella. She was such a warrior and a light in her battle with cancer.
She added, “The last time we spent time together, we sat and cried and hugged a lot. She had her little bottle of valor oil that she loved next to her. Fitting, because she embodied valor in every essence of her being. This Gofundme will go directly to her husband and three children whom she loved fiercely. I will miss you, my friend.”
