Florida – Authorities have identified the victim who died in a fatal accident that happened on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, as Alexis Santiago, a 19-year-old dancer and student at the University of South Florida. Santiago passed away from the injuries sustained from the incident. She was described as an absolute light in everyone’s life and such a joy to be around. She was smart, beautiful, and charismatic, and achieved many great things.
Most recently, she was an assistant for the dance convention Artistic Dance Exchange and traveled doing what she was passionate about. The full details about the accident that killed Alexis are still pending. A Gofundme campaign with a targeted amount of $15,000 has been created in support of the Santiago family, to help cover the expenses. At the time this article was published, $9,844 has been raised.
Alexis touched many hearts during her time in the dance community and beyond. She had a great future upon her, filled with a lot of opportunities.
