Chicago, IL – Dee Porter aka Devian Porter unexpectedly passed away on February 6, 2023, according to tributes that friends and family members put on social media. Dee died at the tender age of 22 due to natural causes. He was described as a one-of-a-kind soul that lit up every room he’s ever walked in. He was a beloved son, brother, friend, and one of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes that always took time to care for those around him. A Gofundme campaign that has already raised $25,116 was to help Dee’s name live forever in our hearts.
Brian Williams Fiancé to Tjuana Porter, Devian’s mother expressed his sorrow with a heartfelt message he wrote on his Facebook account on Wednesday, Feb, 8. Williams wrote, “It took me all day to do this but, Please say a prayer of peace for my baby, my Fiancé Tjuana Porter and family, on the loss of her son Dee Porter who was an AMAZING Energy.

He continued, “Listen, this has been a rough beginning of the year, for MANY of us, HOWEVER, I am fixed on ALL things, not just will, but DO, work out for the good of them that love God, and that He IS the provision of Peace that is beyond natural comprehension. I stand 10 toes down YET WILL I TRUST GOD! I Love y’all.”
Davian also known as Dee Porter was born and brought up in Chicago, Illinois, and he studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a public land-grant research university in Illinois in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana. It is the flagship institution of the University of Illinois system and was founded in 1867.
Martese Porter, Dee’s father wrote;
Man you caught me off guard with this one man my gentle giant you Always knew exactly what to say just a social butterfly everyone loves Dee your last words to me shook up my whole understanding I texted you I have no-one to fall back on you said you got us then you went soul searching you said Said want to see you happy again you broke me down with that one I watch you my left tackle i Always seen greatness in you ! Caught me off guard with this one One thing you knew for sure I was a very proud father of my 4 boys to see you guys to surprise me for for my 50 birthday dinner hadn’t smiled in 4 years until I walked in that room and seen babies sitting at that table waiting for me to walk in the things you said to me matters much things like I believe in you dad
